Friends since childhood, Davis Picklesimer and Jim Tate are fourth generation Highlanders. Owning a business together was a natural.  Housed in one of the oldest historic buildings on Main Street, the Highlands Wine Shoppe was also the Tate family home. "It's a very special place for many reasons," Jim explains,

"My grandmother and mother both lived here and it was even the Highlands Chamber of Commerce for awhile. It's been an icon in this town for generations."

We cater to locals and visitors alike and although the temperature may be cooler here, our service is always friendly and warm.
